UOW in the Shire
Students attending Loftus Education Centre have access to a range of services and learning is supported by easy access to information technology. Loftus Education Centre brings University education to the local community. Students enrolled in any of the undergraduate or postgraduate programs offered at Loftus can take advantage of the opportunity to study with an internationally recognised institution without leaving their local area. At the Centre, students learn in a friendly, student-centred environment, making full use of small work group tutorials, seminars and classes as well as linking with others across the network of UOW students.
Course changes at Loftus
Faculty of Education: The Bachelor of Science Education and the Bachelor of Mathematics Education are moving from Loftus to the main campus in Wollongong from 2010.
Commerce expands @ Loftus
From 2010 The Loftus Education Centre will offer more Commerce programs. 
Loftus Education Centre becomes UOW Southern Sydney from 2010
From 1 January 2010 the Loftus Education Centre will change it's name into University of Wollongong Southern Sydney. This name reflects better the fact that we are part of the University of Wollongong, providing university education to Southern Sydney.
Information Evening Postgraduate Courses Loftus 5 January 2010
